About Erik Gundersen

Erik Gundersen is the Founder and Principal of ERG Strategies, a boutique consulting firm that partners with government agencies and private enterprises to navigate the complexities of cannabis policy and regulation. Leveraging his extensive experience in building state regulatory programs and establishing regulatory frameworks on a national scale, Erik founded ERG Strategies to provide strategic guidance and actionable insights to clients.
Prior to launching ERG Strategies, Erik served as the Executive Director of Maine’s Office of Cannabis Policy (OCP), where he spearheaded the creation and oversight of the state’s medical and adult-use cannabis programs. Under his leadership, Maine successfully launched its adult-use cannabis market in 2020, setting a standard for regulatory excellence and industry growth.
Before leading Maine’s OCP, Erik played a pivotal role in shaping cannabis policy at the legislative level, serving as Senior Policy Advisor to two Speakers of the Maine House. In this capacity, he acted as the chief liaison to the Legislature’s Cannabis Legalization Implementation Committee, the body responsible for drafting the framework that governs Maine’s adult-use cannabis industry today.
Erik is widely recognized as a national expert in vice industry policies, bringing a unique blend of regulatory acumen and strategic vision to evolving landscapes.

About Stephanie McArdle

Stephanie McArdle is the President and Founder of Orange Photonics, the global leader in portable HPLC technology purpose-built for cannabis regulation, enforcement, and compliance. She works closely with law enforcement and regulatory agencies across the U.S., recently being invited to speak at the California Narcotics Officers’ Association Cannabis Control Summit about practical cannabis enforcement strategies. About Shawn Collins

Shawn Collins, Founder of THC Group and former Executive Director of the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission, is one of the country’s foremost experts in cannabis policy. Shawn helped establish Massachusetts as a model for the implementation of safe, effective, and equitable cannabis policy, while simultaneously building out and overseeing the operations of the East Coast’s first adult-use marijuana regulatory agency. Under Shawn’s leadership, Massachusetts’ legal adult-use marketplace has grown at a rapid pace and generated more than $5 billion in revenue across more than 300 retail stores, including $1.56 billion in 2023 alone.
Shawn is an original founder of the Cannabis Regulators Association and also helped formalize networks that provide policymakers with unbiased information from the front lines of cannabis legalization, even as federal prohibition persists.
Before joining the MA Cannabis Control Commission, Shawn served as Assistant Treasurer and Director of Policy and Legislative Affairs to Treasurer Deborah B. Goldberg and Chief of Staff and General Counsel to former Sen. Richard T. Moore (D-Uxbridge). Shawn is a graduate of Suffolk University and Suffolk University Law School, and is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.

About Lieutenant Jim Diana

Lieutenant Jim Diana began his law enforcement career in October 1986 with the Wilmington Police Department in Delaware. Over the span of nearly 24 years, he served in multiple key roles including the Uniform Patrol Division, Community Policing Unit, Criminal Investigations Division, and the Human Resources Division.
Following his retirement from Wilmington PD in May 2010, Jim continued his public service as an Agent with the State of Delaware’s Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Enforcement (D.A.T.E.). With the legalization of marijuana in Delaware, Jim was selected to lead D.A.T.E.’s Marijuana Enforcement Operations. 
Lieutenant Diana holds an associate’s degree in criminal justice from Brandywine College of Widener University (1992). He is also a graduate of the Delaware State Police Leadership Development Program and a recipient of FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Award for executive leadership development.
Jim currently serves as president for the National Liquor Law Enforcement Association (NLLEA), a non-profit association of law enforcement personnel dedicated to the enforcement of liquor laws and regulations.   
Beyond his professional duties, Jim is deeply involved in community service. He serves as a law enforcement liaison for the Delaware Special Olympics Summer Games Planning Committeeand is a member of theExecutive Committee of Delaware Law Enforcement for Special Olympics.

About Dylan Wilks

Spectroscopy, entrepreneurship and invention are a family legacy for Dylan. His grandfather is the “Father of Infrared Technology” and one of the analytical testing industry founders in the 1940’s. Dylan has extensive experience within both the infrared spectroscopy and chromatography disciplines. Dylan has designed instrumentation that serves aerospace, law enforcement, petroleum, beverages and pharmaceutical industries and chaired an ASTM method. Dylan subsequently founded Orange Photonics in 2015. Dylan is a graduate of Tufts University with a Master’s in Engineering Management, where he received the distinguished student award, he also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in mathematics, graduating magna cum laude from Union College.
