Title: Production Technician
Hours: Part-time, non-benefitted

Seeking detail-oriented individual to assist with a variety of manufacturing processes. Duties will vary to include instrument assembly work as well as boxing and shipping responsibilities. The individuals in these part-time roles are critical to ensuring timely sales order fulfillment and the consistent availability of subassemblies for the production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete manufacturing “job” assignments with efficiency and precision
- Assist in inventory receiving
- Subassemblies, accessories, and consumables manufacturing
- Prepare, package, and ship instruments and consumables
- Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently
- Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
- Suggest and implement process improvements
- Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals
- Follow all written and verbal instructions
- Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude and a passion for customer satisfaction
- Review work activities with the supervisor
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Other duties as required
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work well within a team and independently
- Organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and punctual
- Ability to learn and use computers, ERP system, and shipping platforms such as UPS WorldShip
- Ability to continuously stand, walk, bend, climb stairs and lift up to 40lbs
- Regularly perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Two or more years of experience working in manufacturing preferred
- High school diploma or Associates Degree
- Extra points if you enjoy classic rock and BBQ lunches
Equipment Used
- Hand tools, scales, computers, label printers, measurement equipment, drills
- Soldering iron. Electronics soldering skills preferred; a willingness to develop skills may be acceptable
